Rebecca, I wrote a purchase agreement on another
property last Friday. It was the third house since
Christmas Eve that I have sold in which it was the
FIRST HOUSE I SHOWED THEM. Now talk about easy! It
started happening ever since one of my competitors
told me he sells the first house many times and
told me that I needed to go for the close quicker.
Well, instead of going for the close quicker (which
I think is unethical, and simply annoying to most
people) I decided that I would put my mind to work
to find the perfect buyer for the perfect house and
that it would be easy. That is why I believe it has
happened three times. What do you think of
that?

I am closing this afternoon on the property I sold
on New Year's Eve. Also, I just received an
accepted purchase agreement on the house I sold
last Friday and this one will close very soon --
February 15. The buyer and seller were thousands of
dollars apart and I persisted in my visualization
that they would come to an agreement; both were
claiming they were firm in their offer and counter
offer so for a couple of days, it was considered by
all to be a dead deal; I wouldn't give up; I
continued to see them signing the papers and
smiling, in my mind's eye. Both the buyer and
seller called two days later, each having moved 2
thousand in their position closer to each other,
asking if we could revive the deal, so then they
were only $500 apart; I still wouldn't give up, I
saw them agreeing and sure enough, a day later, the
seller agreed. I have two new customers and am
committed to making this job easy. I have also
decided I will work no more than 50 hours/week, 45
if I feel like it.
Until
later,

Rebecca,
Yes,
we found a house!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!! My
husband moved to our new town (Richmond, VA) on
Wednesday, had an appointment that day to see a new
house on the market. I drove down to sign the
paperwork that day.
This
house wasn't supposed to be opened to the public
until Friday, but our agent knew someone who
allowed us to see it first, 2 days before. To make
a long story short, the current owners allowed us
to put a contract on it before opening it up to the
public as long as we paid $1500 over the asking
price. We could handle that, so we did it! Not sure
how it is where you are, but people bid over the
asking price oftentimes around here. Competition is
fierce. In our price range ($150k), there isn't
much out there worth anything.
This
house needs a little work and TLC, but we are
willing to do it. The neighborhood is my absolute
favorite one in the whole city without touching the
million dollar home areas. The house has 16 of the
18 "wants" in a house that I had on my list!! So, I
figure I can live with that.
After
the contract went through, my husband said "you
gotta write that lady Rebecca!!!" I'm so glad he
witnessed the power of the LOA. I plan on living
the rest of my life in tune with it.
Thanks
again, Rebecca. Your teleclass and follow up emails
were such a tremendous help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
